ABOUT ME WEBPAGE

About me ... hmmmm, what would you like to know about the owner and administrator of these webpages??? :o)

But before looking below, I must add that this isn't an advert for a mate or partner!

Guess I could be best described as a boring middle-aged kind of a guy that likes what he does for a living and enjoys being active. I currently work as an Operational Firefighter in Timaru.

I am fairly adventurous when given the chance, I like to have a go at most things ... but my main areas of adventure are by bike especially cycletouring, or walking/hiking, which I think you can tell if you have had a look around the other pages in this website ... I often get told off for speeding on my bike ... 105kmh max speed on dirt, 102kmh on road, 88.5kmh downhill while towing a fully laden BoBYak trailer.

Some other useless info ...
Age: 44, look like 54, feel like 64, act like 24
star sign is Pisces, or born in "year of the ox" ... does that make me sensitive, easy going but stubborn?
Height: 1.91m
Weight: 105kg, maybe a bit more over xmas or winter
IQ: 181
Jung-Briggs-Meyers personality test: ISTJ ... which actually describes me quite adequately I think! [Interestingly, every other person in the room full of firefighters taking the same test were ESTJ]
Check ISTJ type or ISTJ type, or take the test for yourself ... [you will be surprised at the result.]

On the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado

On top of Pikes Peak, Colorado, USA 1998, that's me on the left ... we are about to head back down. It was a lovely day even at 6am, but very cold at 14,110ft asl. The next week I biked back up here!

Ok Sarah, I am standing still now ...
